Players start each practice with a game of catch with their parent. Parents are asked to stay close to help young children understand directions, stay focused and become comfortable with their new environment. Classes are designed for all ability levels. Gloves are not provided but players are encouraged to bring one to help with playing catch, all other equipment is provided. Athletic footwear required. WaitlistIntermediate and Advanced Ceramics (Pottery program)ArtThis course is for returning students who have previously taken ceramic courses. Students should have previous knowledge of the clay process, wheel throwing, and hand building. This course is an opportunity for students who are interested in setting individual goals. Goals can be based on creating artworks of self-proposed works with support from an instructor. Students will be encouraged to develop a plan for their time in the studio and will be supported in fulfilling that plan throughout the session. Additionally, and per the class’ progress, more advanced wheel and hand building demonstrations will be provided. Attendance is important. Students are expected to bring their own clay tools.
