Intermediate Belly Dancing
Continue your Middle Eastern dance journey in this intermediate-level class for students with prior experience. The level 2 curriculum focuses on refining beginning level moves, new techniques with more attention to dance combinations and transitions, musicality, and developing skills with finger cymbals. Some specialty techniques/props and basic layering techniques may also be introduced at this level.
Prerequisite: Belly Dance Basics and Beyond or instructor permission.

Instructor

Kristin is a multi-talented artist, dancer, performer, teacher and choreographer of 30 plus years. Bringing life to emotions and stories through movement has been a lifelong pursuit. She has studied with many great Middle Eastern Dance Artists including Cassandra Shore, Jillina, Dina of Cairo, and Raqia Hassan. Her movement studies also include African, Modern Dance, Ballet, Jazz, Renaissance, Baroque dance forms and extensive experience in Stage Combat and Theatrical Movement. No story is too big or small to tell through dance.
