HAWA Women’s Health Club - Open Swim
Enjoy dedicated women-only swim time in a comfortable and community-centered environment with HAWA Women's Health Club at Eisenhower!
This series of open swim sessions is perfect for women who want to move freely, relax in the water, practice swimming at their own pace, or simply enjoy a peaceful space for wellness and connection. Please bring a swimsuit, towel, water bottle, and goggles if preferred. Open to all skill levels. The pool space will be locked for access by males during these events; a women's locker room is available for shower and restroom facilities that connect directly to the pool space.
NOTES:
- This opportunity is uniquely designed as a female-only swim environment. The purpose is to protect religious "modesty" (Awrah) practices.
- A minimum of 23 participants is required to run each event, and a 30 maximum occupancy will cap participation for each swim date.
- Participants must acknowledge an understanding of safe swim practices and agree to the Hopkins liability waiver as a part of registration.
- Lifeguards are required to be present at each event and will monitor pool safety during all swim activities.
- No swim instructors will be present.
- There is a strict no-photography expectation for the HAWA Women's Open Swim sessions. If a photo is taken without awareness of this policy, the photographer will be asked to delete any images of participants.
- Currently, the Saturday, September 5 date is contingent on securing lifeguarding.
