Students will study and build upon the basic techniques of both hand building and wheel throwing. All levels of ability are welcome; students moving into intermediate level have support and space to work independently and receive guidance to refine wheel and hand building techniques. This course is designed for individuals that would like to dive deeper into the exploration of creating ceramics. The instructor will provide student support and will help guide artists' goals. Bicycle Repair and Maintenance CampMiddle School EnrichmentThis 2-Day Camp will teach you basic bike set up, trailside repair, shifting adjustments, brake adjustments, learn how to re-cable a bike for shifting and brakes, tube replacement, tips & tricks, and preparing a bike for selling (if interested). Students are free to bring a different bike to each class. Parts are an extra fee if it is something more major or we will help you source new parts if needed.Youth Summer 2026 -
Bike Trailside and Home Repair/MaintenanceHobbiesThis 3-hour class will build from basic to more advanced. Many of your bike issues can be solved in this class! Major focus will be on identification of bicycle parts, trailside repair, shifting adjustments, brake adjustments, chain maintenance, how to repair/replace a tube (flat tire), how to safety check your bike. If time allows, we will also learn basic wheel truing, replacing a chain, how to replace brake and shifting cables. Please bring a bike. Especially one that needs work! Woodworking Camp, young builders will bring their ideas to life using smooth pine wood pieces in all shapes and sizes. Campers will create hands-on projects they can take home, along with their very own builder’s kit complete with a lightweight hammer, nails, glue, and more. With step-by-step guidance and creative freedom, kids will gain basic woodworking skills, boost their confidence, and even take home a project guide to continue building after camp ends. Camp Move ForwardTeens, Sports and Other ProgramsWaitlistDuring the weeks of June 15th, June 22nd, and July 20th: Camp Move Forward will provide a fun and engaging opportunity for middle schoolers to focus on managing emotions, building self-confidence, expressing themselves through creativity, learning coping strategies, developing mindfulness, and building social relationships. Students will engage in arts and crafts, movement, learning, and support around mental health and wellness in a fun and interactive environment. A focus on stress management will be held during the week of August 3rd from 9am-12pm. The camp provides an engaging opportunity for middle-schoolers to reduce anxiety, build resilience, and develop practical coping skills through mindfulness, relaxation, and social support strategies. The camp offers creative activities, movement, learning, and support in a fun and interactive environment, with a special focus on dealing with stress and anxiety. The course is free and parents/guardians will need to review and consent to the form online when registering. This course is free. Tuesday, August 18: St. Louis Park Aquatic Center Wednesday: August 19: MN Twins Game MN Twins vs. Atlanta Braves game, ballpark tour, hot dog & soda included! Thursday, August 20: Urban Air Students should bring a nut-free bag lunch each day, along with a water bottle and snacks.
