Adult Swim - Women’s Beginner 1 (18+): Swim ABCs for Fearful or Nervous Swimmers

Swim Lessons for Adult Women (18+), provided in partnership with Minnesota Masters Swimming

All instructors, volunteers and lifeguards will be women, and there will be privacy on the pool deck so that women can participate. This program is designed for adults who never learned how to swim or have anxiety around water. Participants will learn to be more comfortable and safer in the water. Participants will learn skills including putting face in the water while blowing bubbles, sculling, kicking, and back float / front float. Participants will be put into small groups of 1 to 2 swimmers and 1 instructor. Each participant will be able to progress at their own pace.
