ECFE Classes for Children of Varying Ages These classes are designed for families with children of varying ages who wish to attend together, as well as those interested in having their child interact with peers of different ages. We offer a range of activities that allow children of all ages to explore through creative play, new art forms, and songs. Class Features: Activities for All Ages: Engage in activities tailored to children under 5 years old, promoting exploration, creativity, and learning. Caregiving Discussion Topics: Focused on topics that may include, developmental milestones, sibling relationships, big feelings, media use, and more. Discussion topics will be guided by the group’s interests. Caregiver Discussion Time: Connect with other caregivers and explore parenting topics. Caregivers will separate to a different room - the process is customized to meet the unique needs of each group with a focus on fostering growth for both parents and kids. During separation/Caregiver Discussion: Infants (birth to 6 months) will attend caregiver discussions with their adult. When possible, younger children (6 months to 15 months) may move to a separate classroom for safety. Sibling Care is not available for our mixed age classes. Waitlists help us grow! Twins & Multiples (Caregiver & Children attend class together) For Families with Twins, Triplets, or More Come join a special community of families with twins, triplets, or more! This mixed-age class is designed for caregivers and children ages 9 months to 5 years. Your little ones will have the chance to explore new art forms, creative play, and music in an engaging, hands-on environment. In addition to fun activities, we’ll create space for meaningful discussions on topics such as developmental milestones, big feelings, sibling relationships, screen time, and more—based on the interests of the group. Separating class format: Caregiver and children separate for parenting discussion time customized to meet the unique needs of each group. Sibling Care is offered for children ages 6 months – 5.5 years and have not started Kindergarten yet. Spots are limited, so please register early! Waitlists help us grow! This class offers a space for you and your child to play and interact with others while providing you with the opportunity to connect with other Somali-speaking adults. Caregiver Discussion: Led by a Licensed Parenting Educator, with an interpreter available each week to support communication. Class Structure: This class is designed for children ages 0-5, providing them with a structured classroom experience.
