Whether you're new or experienced, this is the perfect way to explore competitive coding. No previous coding experience is necessary. The Code Championship Series is four online tournaments hosted on Google Meet. If you have a modern browser, no download is required. Players must be able to navigate the internet. First Tech ChallengeMiddle School EnrichmentWaitlistFIRST Tech Challenge - Middle School Robotics Team - where students learn to think like engineers. In this exciting program, teams design, build, and code robots to compete in alliance-style matches against other teams. Robots are built using a reusable platform powered by Android technology and can be coded with different levels of Java-based programming to fit students' experience and interests. Depending on team progress and interest, the group may have the chance to compete in up to two regional competitions with the possibility of advancing to the state championship. Competition dates will be announced later, and the final meeting date may change based on competition schedules, team progress, and coach availability. To participate, students should be able to focus, work cooperatively, and show initiative in learning new skills. FTC Robotics is a team with clear goals, deadlines, and deliverables, rather than a casual STEM exploration club. Students will be expected to contribute consistently to group projects involving robot design, building, coding, testing, documentation, and competition preparation. No prior experience with coding, 3D printing, electronics, or building is required — those skills will be taught as part of the program. After registration, students will be asked to submit a brief paragraph describing their interest in joining the team. There are no “right” answers; this is simply an opportunity for students to demonstrate interest and readiness to participate in a collaborative team environment. Teams will be formed approximately three weeks after the program start date. If the program is full, families are encouraged to place their student on the waitlist. If there is sufficient interest, Community Education will work to add an additional team.Youth Fall 2026

Join Assistant Coach James Ware and Hopkins Coaching Staff for intense basketball training designed to elevate your game while having fun!!!!! Program Includes: Dynamic warm-up, Speed & Agility Training Ball handling, Scoring off the dribble, Shooting Defense & Rebounding 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games Athletes will need comfortable clothing, athletic shoes, a water bottle, and a snack (optional). Junior High Ski and Snowboard ClubMiddle School EnrichmentThe Ski Club package includes 4 nights of skiing or snowboarding at Afton Alps in Hastings. It also includes bus and lift tickets. Students must ride the bus to and from Afton. Food can be purchased from the Chalet or brought from home. Ski equipment can be stored at school the morning of each trip. Students will meet the bus at the main school door after school. All students must be picked up at the Royal Athletic Center at the end of the night by 10:00 PM. Please ensure that you pick up your child on-time. If a student registers for Bus Only, they will not be provided a lift ticket or rentals. They must provide their own lift ticket. If they do not bring it to Ski Club, a parent or guardian will need to bring their lift ticket to the ski hill to participate.Youth Fall 2026 -
