They explore the four elements of dance—body, space, force, and time—through playful activities that have them stomping, gliding, jumping, wiggling, and creating movement stories. Through prompts, games, and collaborative exploration, they practice inventiveness, sequencing, problem-solving, and ensemble awareness while developing a deeper understanding of how movement can communicate ideas. The program also introduces the upbeat world of Hip Hop. Whether dancers naturally groove or are just beginning to find their rhythm, they learn foundational hip hop steps, musicality, and fun choreography set to today’s kid-friendly hits. This section builds coordination, pattern recognition, and confidence in a supportive, high-energy environment.
