Summertime Clay Daze
This class is for beginner and intermediate students. You will throw on the wheel with instruction and various demonstrations. Students will produce aesthetic and functional work. We will glaze the last day of class. Dress for a mess, please wear tennis shoes and wear hair back during the throwing process. Snack is optional. -
Middle School Pottery: Wheel Throwing and Handbuilding
Like clay? This is a class for beginning and intermediate students that enjoy working with stoneware clay on the wheel and we will create a handbuilt project. Techniques and demos will be provides as well as working on your own ideas. Feel free to bring ear buds while listening to your own tunes. 9–12 PM: Beginner and All-Skills Who Should Register: Players in grades 4–6 who are new to volleyball 7th and 8th grade beginners who have little to no prior volleyball experience and want to learn the basics before moving into more competitive play 1–3 PM: High School Team Tryout Prep Who Should Register: Players in grades 7-9 who are planning to tryout for high school teams Both camps are led by Hopkins High School Volleyball staff and varsity athletes. -

DASH Sports SNAG Golf Summer camps provide participants instruction on golf fundamentals using the Starting New At Golf (SNAG) program. Putting, chipping, pitching, and driving the ball work with this adapted equipment developed with a youngster's height and small hands in mind, creating a fun learning and playing experience. Participants should wear sunscreen and bring water and a snack. All equipment is provided. -

DASH Sports Summer Track & Field camps provide participants with practice in several areas including: sprinting, throwing (javelin and shot put), relay running, long jumping and distance running. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. All players will be timed/tested on the first and last day. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance. Campers should wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle, snack, and wear athletic clothing/shoes. -
Cogwarts Escape Room
Welcome to Cogwarts—the magical school where engineering skills are as powerful as wands! “Cog” represents clever engineering and creative problem-solving, while “warts”…well, the magical mischief is all yours. Campers team up to solve enchanted puzzles, crack secret codes, and build clever contraptions to escape from daily magical scenarios. In the second half of the class, they become the masterminds, designing their own escape rooms filled with tricky engineering challenges for others to solve. On the final day, teams go head-to-head, testing their wits, creativity, and teamwork in the ultimate spellbinding showdown! -
Camp Move Forward
During the weeks of June 15th, June 22nd, and July 20th: Camp Move Forward will provide a fun and engaging opportunity for middle schoolers to focus on managing emotions, building self-confidence, expressing themselves through creativity, learning coping strategies, developing mindfulness, and building social relationships. Students will engage in arts and crafts, movement, learning, and support around mental health and wellness in a fun and interactive environment. A focus on stress management will be held during the week of August 3rd from 9am-12pm. The camp provides an engaging opportunity for middle-schoolers to reduce anxiety, build resilience, and develop practical coping skills through mindfulness, relaxation, and social support strategies. The camp offers creative activities, movement, learning, and support in a fun and interactive environment, with a special focus on dealing with stress and anxiety. The course is free and parents/guardians will need to review and consent to the form online when registering. This course is free. Camp Invention SPARK Camp!
Camp Invention’s new program, SPARK, offers 4 full days of hands-on STEM learning. In Fur-ensics, campers sharpen their detective skills and discover how forensic science is used to solve crimes as they conduct their own critter crimes investigation. They explore the inner robotics of their capybara, create clever sleuthing gadgets and build critical thinking skills as they collect evidence to forensically analyze and narrow down their suspects. In Make Waves, campers explore exciting entrepreneurship concepts, make ocean discoveries and ride the waves of innovation as they learn how to commercialize their inventions, from generating ideas to pitching invention prototypes to investors. They conduct hands-on buoyancy experiments, “make waves” in the market with customer research and build an innovative billboard boat to hook their target audience. Space Morphers launches campers on a mission to terraform a new planet for human habitation as they create inventions to transform its atmosphere, terrain and ecosystem. After building their own DIY rocket, they study Earth’s systems, collect samples in a high-energy relay challenge, review data and record their observations in their Space Lab. In The Infringers, campers spark the superpowers of the I Can Invent® Mindset, design and create an invention that solves a challenge in their community and learn how to protect their intellectual property with various security tools. They brainstorm, design and miniaturize a top-secret invention, design a wearable device that incorporates cryptography and file a provisional patent to safeguard designs from the Infringers. -
