WaitlistBeginning and Intermediate Ceramics (Pottery program)ArtThis 9-session course is designed for those who have little to no clay experience and will include structured lessons for beginners with some choice built in. Students will study and build upon the basic techniques of both hand building and wheel throwing. All levels of ability are welcome; students moving into intermediate level have support and space to work independently and receive guidance to refine wheel and hand building techniques. This course is designed for individuals that would like to dive deeper into the exploration of creating ceramics. The instructor will provide student support and will help guide artists' goals. If you do not bring your own clay tools, you can purchase a basic 8-piece clay tool set from the instructor for $12 (check or exact cash only). Please note that the final class date is not an instruction date; this is a one-hour pickup date for finished artwork.Adult Fall 2026 -
WaitlistIntermediate and Advanced Ceramics (Pottery program)ArtThis course is for returning students who have previously taken ceramic courses. Students should have previous knowledge of the clay process, wheel throwing, and hand building. This course is an opportunity for students who are interested in setting individual goals. Goals can be based on creating artworks of self-proposed works with support from an instructor. Students will be encouraged to develop a plan for their time in the studio and will be supported in fulfilling that plan throughout the session. Additionally, and per the class’ progress, more advanced wheel and hand building demonstrations will be provided. Attendance is important. Students are expected to bring their own clay tools. Note: The final class date is not an instruction schedule; this is a one-hour artwork pickup date.Adult Fall 2026
