Perinatal Pelvic Health: Prepare, Support, & Restore
Are you thinking of becoming pregnant someday, currently pregnant, or postpartum? Then this course is for you! We will go over pelvic health anatomy, prep for labor and birth, and how to safely get back to life and activity without symptoms postpartum. For the in-person class, we will go over hands-on techniques for deep abdominal and breathing coordination as well as what exercises are helpful for pelvic floor mobility and support before, during and after birth.

I am a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and former Division 1 track and cross-country athlete specializing in running and pelvic health. After earning my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences and completing an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency, I founded Tempo Physical Therapy & Running Performance to bridge the gap between rehab and performance. Having experienced multiple bone stress injuries myself as a runner, I deeply understand the frustration of being sidelined. This sparked my mission to help others reduce injury risk and return to the activities they love. My individualized, goal-oriented approach focuses on movement optimization, hands-on techniques, and effective loading. As a member of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, I am also committed to supporting Tribal Nations and the land we run and live on.
