Exploring Your Family History Through Photography

Join this three-session class to prepare you for a dive into your family history! Alongside your genealogy, learn new techniques to put your portrait subjects at ease while learning about their past. Build a unique family story through historic and new materials.

• Sunday, October 25, 1-3pm. Unique portrait and lighting techniques 
• Sunday, November 1, 1-3pm. Scanning family photos / Recording oral history
• Sunday, November 8, 1-3pm. Deliverables: photo prints, books and slide shows

"The best camera is the one you have with you." High end equipment is not needed for this class. You just need what it takes to capture a moment and focus on your creativity.

Note: This class is intended for students of beginner-to-intermediate level photography skill. Students should be familiar with basic genealogy research skills.
